Senior .NET Developer
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Work Mode: Hybrid (50% on-site, 50% remote)
Contract Type: Permanent (CDI) / Freelance – Full-time
Required Languages: Proficiency in English, Dutch, and French (minimum C1 level)
Availability: On-call service 24/7 after comprehensive training (one week per month)

We are seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join our team in Brussels. This role involves designing and developing cloud-based solutions in Azure, contributing to a range of deliverables, including cloud backends, mobile applications, web interfaces, and integrations with legacy systems. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the lead designer to propose innovative and effective technical solutions while ensuring high-quality, well-tested software that meets business needs.
Mandatory Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in .NET development.
- 5+ years of experience in Azure Cloud development.
- 5+ years of experience in .NET Core Web API development.
- Strong expertise in unit testing and test automation.
- Fluent in English.
- Fluent in Dutch or French.
- Ability to work onsite at least 2 days per week in Brussels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain .NET Core Web APIs and cloud-based solutions in Azure.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and maintainable software.
- Ensure high code quality by applying best practices, including clean code, SOLID principles, and unit testing.
- Work closely with the business to refine requirements and improve software solutions.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience with Azure PaaS services such as API Manager, Service Bus, Event Grid, Blob Storage, CosmosDB, and Azure Functions.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker containers.
- Strong understanding of REST API design, dependency injection, and design patterns.
- Proficiency in SQL and database optimization.
- Familiarity with Git for version control.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum/SAFe environments.
