Functional Enterprise Architect – Financial Sector
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Work Model: Hybrid (2–3 days per week on-site)
Languages: Native French or Dutch + good command of the other national language + English (B2)

About the Role
We are looking for a Functional Enterprise Architect to join a large-scale strategic transformation program within the financial sector. The selected professional will play a key role in rationalizing complex IT and data landscapes, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.
This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in enterprise and functional architecture, experienced in CRM migrations and familiar with banking or service centre environments.
 
Key Skills and Experience
- 
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Functional or Enterprise Architect.

Proven experience in banking, financial services, or service centre environments.
 
- 
Hands-on experience with CRM migrations at an organizational level.
 
- 
Strong knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks and methodologies.
 
- 
Understanding of microservices architectures, APIs, and cloud-based environments.
 
- 
Familiarity with data storage and integration strategies.
 
- 
Ability to communicate complex concepts in clear, business-oriented language.
 
 
Technical and Domain Knowledge

Main Responsibilities
- 
Analyze and translate business and functional requirements into target IT solutions and architectures.

Support solution selection, ensuring alignment with strategic enterprise architecture principles.
 
- 
Contribute to architecture rationalization, simplifying the IT and data landscape to improve scalability and efficiency.
 
- 
Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT architects, and delivery teams to design and document functional and integration architectures.
 
- 
Participate in business case development, providing input for decision-making on technology and solution design.
 
- 
Ensure the architectural consistency of systems and integration with enterprise-level platforms (CRM, CCaaS, Cloud, Data).
