Data Engineer (English) - Application Deadline: 28-04-2025

Remote Work Possibility: Hybrid, 2/3 days per week in the office
Type of Contract: Permanent Contract preferably

Eligibility: Candidates must possess European nationality or a valid work permit for Belgium.
About the Role: We are looking for a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in building and optimizing data pipelines and architectures to support data initiatives across the company. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have solid experience with AWS, C#, SQL, and Python.
Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines.

Implement data solutions that support business analytics and data science initiatives.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver robust solutions.

Optimize database performance and implement data quality controls.

Ensure data security and compliance with internal and external policies.

Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
Requirements:

4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in a Data Engineering role.

Strong experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift, EMR).

Solid programming skills in C# and Python.

Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and non-relational databases.

Familiarity with data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts.

Good understanding of CI/CD and version control tools (e.g., Git).

Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team.
Nice to Have:

Experience with data governance tools or frameworks.

Knowledge of data streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis).

Exposure to DevOps practices and infrastructure as code.
