Position: Vue.js Developer
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Hybrid: 2-3 times a week on the client´s office
Candidates must possess European nationality or a valid work permit for Belgium
Mandatory Languages: One of the national languages (Dutch and French) must be the mother tongue, and the other language must be understood and readable
Job Description:
We are looking for a creative and skilled Vue.js Frontend Developer to develop interactive and user-friendly web applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Vue.js and an understanding of component-driven development and modern front-end tools.
Responsibilities:
- Develop clean, maintainable, and scalable applications using Vue.js;
- Work with Vuex for state management and Vue Router for navigation;
- Build reusable components and libraries to improve efficiency;
- Integrate RESTful APIs and work with GraphQL for data fetching;
- Implement modern JavaScript features such as ES6+, TypeScript, and Babel for compiling;
- Write unit and integration tests using Jest or Mocha;
- Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility;
- Collaborate with design teams to implement user-centric features and interfaces;
- Follow Agile methodologies and actively participate in code reviews.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with Vue.js (2+ years) and Vuex for state management;
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3;
- Experience with Vue CLI, Webpack, and modern JavaScript tools;
- Familiarity with component-based architecture and reusable UI components;
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and OAuth authentication;
- Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Vue Test Utils;
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines;
- Strong collaboration and communication skills within Agile teams;
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
