Position: Senior WebMethods /Middleware Developer
Location: The role requires a minimum of 2 days per week onsite in Brussels.
Languages: Fluent in French OR Dutch + English (minimum B2)
Summary: We are looking for Senior WebMethods Developer to join the Middleware group. This role will involve developing integration flows using the webMethods Designer product and maintaining the ESB Framework within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement integration flows using webMethods Designer.
- Manage operational processes, including incident management and problem-solving, across development, pre-production, and production environments.
- Deploy new software versions across operational environments, ensuring accuracy and minimal disruption.
- Develop with a strong emphasis on security best practices.
- Maintain and update technical documentation, supporting operational teams as needed.
Mandatory Technical Expertise:
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience with webMethods development within the financial/banking sector.
- 3+ years experience with version 10.x of the webMethods suite.
- Experience in upgrading webMethods to new major versions.
- Experience with API Integration: Advanced knowledge of SOAP and REST protocols.
- Java: Beginner level experience, with recent exposure to Java-based environments.
- Network Protocols: Advanced experience with HTTP, HTTPS, SFTP, FTPS.
- Security Expertise: Advanced understanding of security principles, including certificates, firewalls, load balancing, TLS connections, OAuth.
- webMethods Expertise: In-depth technical knowledge of the webMethods suite, including Integration Server, Broker, TN, Process Engine, My webMethods, Deployer, and Command Central.
- webMethods Development: Expertise in webMethods programming, with hands-on experience in Integration Server, Process Engine, Designer, and WmTestSuite.
